Tax-Smart Ways to Give
-

Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)
A donor-advised fund is an easy and flexible way to support the Foundation. Recommend a grant from your DAF to help fund cultural programs, scholarships, and building improvements. Simply contact your fund advisor and direct a gift to The Swedish Club Foundation.
-

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)
For those 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution from an IRA is a powerful and tax-efficient way to give. For 2025, individuals may donate up to $108,000 per year via QCD directly to eligible charities like The Swedish Club Foundation, with a married couple (both eligible) potentially donating a combined $216,000.
A QCD can count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) and — because it is not taxed as income — can help reduce your taxable income. -

Gifts of Stock
Donating appreciated securities — such as stocks, mutual funds, or bonds — is another tax-smart way to make a lasting impact. A gift of stock may allow you to avoid capital gains tax while supporting the long-term sustainability of The Swedish Club.
Make a lasting gift today and leave a legacy for generations to come.
