SKÅL & SKAPA: OUR MONTHLY CRAFTING SERIES
Raise a glass and get creative! Skål & Skapa (“Cheers & Create”) is our new monthly series of rotating craft nights. Each session features a different hands-on project—painting, upcycling, weaving, seasonal crafts, and more—led by skilled instructors.

Bring friends or family for a relaxed, social evening of making something uniquely yours. Prices vary by class, but every event offers fun, creativity, and a dash of Swedish inspiration. Skål!

Join us for a fun and creative sewing class where we’ll transform recycled textiles into beautiful, reusable tote bags!

Class begins at 6:00 PM and will run approximately 2 hours.

This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced sewists alike. You’ll learn basic construction techniques, practice your sewing skills, and leave with a one-of-a-kind tote you made yourself.. We’ll provide a selection of upcycled fabrics to choose from, along with webbing for sturdy tote handles. Guests are also welcome to bring their own materials if you have something special in mind. We have a limited number of sewing machines available, so please feel free to bring your own machine if you’re able.

Let’s stitch sustainably and give new life to old materials!

Price: $25 Members | $35 Non-Members

Our Three Crowns Bar will be open, with bar snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Questions before class (like what type of fabric to bring)? Please email our instructor at michelle@swedishclubnw.org.
