Enjoy a Nordic-inspired lunch featuring open-faced smörgås sandwiches, Swedish meatballs, and sweet Fika treats with coffee and desserts. Take in stunning 180° views of Lake Union and downtown Seattle while supporting our landmark building and Nordic cultural heritage.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of community, culture, and cuisine at the Swedish Club, with Gård Vintners. Guests will taste four specially selected wines, each paired with a Nordic-inspired dish carefully curated by our own Swedish Club Chef Christine.
A representative from Gård Vintners will share the winery’s story, inspirations from the winemaker, and insights on where to find these exceptional wines. Guests can also purchase bottles at event-exclusive prices.
Celebrate wine, food, and Nordic-inspired flavors in a warm, welcoming evening—cozy conversations, culinary delights, and unforgettable experiences await!
Featured Menu
First Course:
Herring Shooter & Quail Eggs: A chilled herring shooter with bright coastal notes, accompanied by delicately prepared quail eggs for a clean and refined opening.
Wine Pairing: Franc Blanc – 2024 (Royal Slope): Bright and invigorating, this 2024 Franc Blanc opens with aromas of pear, nectarine, and custard apple layered alongside dried herbs, orange blossom, and subtle seashell minerality. The palate is crisp and energetic, revealing notes of grapefruit and fresh citrus interwoven with herbal nuance and gentle spice. Refreshing yet expressive, it delivers precision and lift with a clean, vibrant finish.
Second Course
Sweet & Spiced Seasonal Fruit with Corn Fritter: A composed presentation of seasonal fruit layered with gentle heat and citrus nuance, complemented by a golden, house-made corn fritter for textural contrast.
Wine Pairing: Freyja – 2024 Blend (Royal Slope): A luminous and expressive blend, Freyja opens with aromas of apricot, mandarin, and ripe melon layered with delicate white flowers, beeswax, and a whisper of sage. On the palate, vibrant stone fruits and candied citrus unfold gracefully, accented by mountain herbs and refined minerality. Ethereal yet beautifully balanced, this vintage offers both freshness and depth.
Third Course
Savory Samosas with House Dipping Sauce: Delicately crisp pastry filled with warmly spiced savory ingredients, served with a vibrant, chef-crafted sauce.
Wine Paring: The Don – 2021 Blend (78% Cabernet Sauvignon · 22% Syrah): A charismatic blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Syrah, The Don opens with aromas of kirsch liqueur, orange peel, red licorice, and sandalwood. With air, deeper layers emerge — crème de cassis, rhubarb, cherry compote, green olive tapenade, and dried herbs. The palate is vibrant and mouthwatering, bursting with red fruit and citrus tones balanced by savory complexity. Playful texture and lifted acidity create both energy and finesse.
Main Course
Seared Baby Lamb Chops with Mango Chutney & Crispy Shallots: Tender baby lamb chops, expertly seared and presented over fresh mint and basil, finished with vibrant mango chutney and delicately fried shallots.
Wine Pairing: Boneyard Syrah – 2021 (Royal Slope): A compelling expression of Royal Slope Syrah, the 2021 Boneyard opens with aromas of blackberry jam, olive tapenade, grilled vegetables, black pepper, and dark cherry. With time in the glass, the wine reveals layers of ripe red and dark fruits, violets, herbes de Provence, supple leather, and a touch of strawberry syrup. Medium-bodied with remarkable texture, the palate unfolds in waves of dark fruit and savory complexity. Soft tannins and lifted acidity frame a long, layered finish where sweet and savory tones intertwine.
Dessert
Chocolate Toast: A warm, chocolate-forward finale — layered textures of crisp and tender elements with deep cocoa richness and subtle sweetness. A comforting yet elevated close to the evening.
Suggested Pairing: Enjoy with freshly brewed coffee or tea, or linger with another sip of Boneyard Syrah – 2021 to echo the wine’s dark fruit and subtle spice.
*Must be 21+ to participate in the wine tasting. Each guest will enjoy four wine pairings, plus a token to revisit one wine for an additional taste on its own.
