The Wandering Swede

Visit Bruun Idun Troll

Saturday, November 8 | Meet at 12: 30 PM

Join us for our next Wandering Swede adventure! This program brings the Swedish spirit to the streets as we explore fun local outings together.

Saturday, November 8 • 12:30 PM
Meeting Spot: Lincoln Park parking lot (by the map in the middle of the lot, near SW Rose St.)

What’s Happening:
We’ll go “troll hunting” to visit Bruun Idun, the West Seattle troll created by Danish artist Thomas Dambo. Bruun Idun is one of five giant troll sculptures scattered across the Pacific Northwest, each crafted from recycled materials and infused with Scandinavian whimsy.

We’ll gather at 12:30 PM in the Lincoln Park parking lot and walk together down to the beach to meet Bruun Idun. Afterwards, those who wish can join us for lunch at a nearby restaurant.

💛 Event Details:

  • Free to join — just bring comfortable walking shoes and your sense of adventure!

  • Lunch afterward is optional and paid individually.

  • Led by Swedish Club member Diane Johnson.

Come wander with us and discover a bit of Nordic magic right here in Seattle!
