Members’ Dinner with Special Guest Speaker Sonja Anderson
Bar Opens 5 PM | Dinner 6 PM | Speaker 6:30 PM | Meeting to Follow
Join us for our November Members Dinner as we welcome special guest Sonja Anderson—author, educator, and librarian—for an inspiring evening of community, conversation, and storytelling, as she shares about her heartwarming book, A Christmas Wish for Little Dala Horse.
Sonja is a certified librarian and teacher with an EdM from Harvard University. Her passion for education and storytelling has taken her around the world—including three years teaching at an international school for boys in Tokyo, Japan. Now based in Seattle, she works full-time in an elementary school library, where she nurtures a love of reading in young minds. She also serves as Vice President of the Northwest Christian Writers Association.
In addition to A Christmas Wish for Little Dala Horse, Sonja is the author of the delightful middle-grade Adventures of Sophie Topfeather series, which is being re-released by Brimstone Fiction—now including the brand-new third installment, Sophie’s Gold Rush.
A Christmas Wish for Little Dala Horse is a heartwarming Yuletide adventure and enchanting Swedish Christmas tale about kindness, courage, and love. Newly carved as a Christmas gift, Little Dala Horse is eager to learn about the Saint Lucia pageant. When a shy gingerbread girl is too scared to dance on stage, Little Dala finds the courage to help her shine.
Come enjoy a warm meal, connect with fellow members, and be inspired by Sonja’s journey as a writer, educator, and storyteller.
