Book Club and Fika

Kvinnor Kan Book Club - 11am - 12pm

For June, our book choice is Burial Rites (2013), by Hannah Kent. Inspired by true events, this historical novel recounts the final days of a young woman accused of the murder of her former master in Iceland in 1829. The novel is described as haunting and uplifting in equal measure by critics.

All are welcome to join us, whether or not you’ve had a chance to read that month’s book.

Advance notice: For July, our book choice is The Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett which allows us to imagine an unnamed English queen encountering a bookmobile on the palace grounds while chasing her corgis. In August, our group will be taking a summer break.

Fika - 12pm - 2pm

Join us at Fika, your favorite Scandinavian haven, where sharing is caring, and savory treats are our new obsession. Whether it's homemade breads, savory pies, or Scandinavian classics, fika welcomes your culinary creations to our cozy tables.

This event take place in the Three Crowns Room on the top floor.
