Special Program: Building Bridges through Cultural Diplomacy

Bar Open 5 PM | Program 6 PM

Join us for a convivial conversation with Frederikke Møller Kristiansen, former cultural attaché for the Danish Embassy in Washington DC. Prior to that appointment, she was the Communications Director for the Danish Arts Foundation. Now working as an independent consultant from her base in Copenhagen, Frederikke has a unique perspective on the ties that bind Denmark & the US. In conversation with Line Larsen, Program Officer at Scan Design Foundation, Frederikke will share her thoughts on the importance of Cultural Diplomacy, highlighting examples of where Denmark succeeds in building community through the arts, innovation and cultural placemaking. Together they will explore where there are opportunities to embrace similar approaches here in the NW.

Bar opens at 5pm for no-host Happy Hour. Program begins at 6.00pm. Q&A will follow at the end of the program.

This is a free event. All are welcome, though space is limited.
